WHO WE ARE
MAoD began as a personal exploration into how emerging technologies and structured workflows may support architectural practice in more thoughtful and useful ways. Over time, that exploration evolved into a focused consultancy grounded in curiosity, practical experience, and careful evaluation.
The work is centered on helping design teams better understand where new tools may create clarity, improve coordination, and support more informed decisions throughout the design process.
WHAT WE DO
Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work. We build with clarity, act with integrity, and always stay curious.
WHAT WE OFFER
Architecture and design practices are entering a period of rapid technological change. New AI tools and workflows are appearing faster than many firms can reasonably evaluate, integrate, or even understand within the realities of project delivery.
More Aware of Design was established to help architects and design teams navigate this transition thoughtfully and practically.
The consultancy focuses on identifying where emerging tools, structured workflows, and AI-supported processes may improve clarity, coordination, communication, and decision-making within architectural practice. The goal is not to replace professional judgment or existing design processes, but to help firms better understand where opportunities may exist and how these tools can be introduced in a measured and useful way.
Areas of support may include:
AI workflow evaluation and integration
Image generation and conceptual visualization workflows
Design process mapping and coordination
Custom GPT development and knowledge structuring
Information organization and decision support
Early-stage exploration of agentic workflows and automation opportunities
The approach is intentionally practical and grounded in real project experience. Recommendations are developed with an understanding of how architecture firms actually operate, including the realities of deadlines, coordination, construction documentation, stakeholder communication, and project delivery.
More Aware of Design is led by a licensed architect with more than two decades of experience delivering complex public and private sector projects across all phases of design and construction.
AI is approached here as a support tool: one capable of improving awareness, reducing friction, and helping teams make better-informed decisions.
